THE TIN MAN begins to shine.

The horses enjoying a pick in the paddock after their exercise.

The Watered Gallop on Racecourse Side was the chosen turf for THE TIN MAN to have stretch on Wednesday morning. It was the first time he has had the chance to work on grass and he enjoyed himself. He also enjoyed seeing a different landscape and being on the racecourse etc. This would be his last piece of work before before heading off to York next Wednesday. He does very little in his everyday canters so it was very encouraging to see him enjoy his work this morning.

Also working on the Watered Gallop were the fillies MOD, GREAT WHITE SHARK & NARJES and two three year olds ENVISAGING and RAINING STARS who is a full brother to STAR STORM.

We worked a couple of two year old fillies on The Al Bahathri second lot. DESTINATA a smashing little Canford Cliffs and PRAXEDIS and equally smashing Dutch Art. Both went nicely. PRAXEDIS has come on a lot in the past couple of weeks and is begining to learn the job well. DESTINATA took a bit longer for the penny to drop but was doing equally as well in the end. HE'S MY BOY absolutely loved leading them and pulled Assistant Kevins arms out. Also having a little spin but nothing as serious as the two fillies was EXPELLED a well named Exceed & Excel and THE PINTO KID who is by High Chaparral.

MAGICAL DREAMER who was disappointing in her run at Doncaster a few weeks ago where she behaved badly at the stalls went back to the stalls for the first time this morning (Thursday). Naturally she behaved herself beautifully! We will continue to take her back regularly.

James was delighted to see the swallows on the heath this morning which indicates the warm weather is on the way. We have had two glorious days on the trot and the horses have been able to have a pick in the paddock. They have looked very fresh and well.
