STAR STORM big date.

Posted on: 4th Jun 2016

STAR STORM has a mammoth task today when he takes on the likes of POSTPONED, SIMPLE VERSE and FOUND among five Group One winners. We hope that he runs well and Mr Obaida and his family enjoy seeing him run.

REPLENISH ran a disappointing race last time at York which is unlike him. He is as honest as the day is long and we hope he will bounce back this evening at Newcastle.

George Wood who has been attached with the yard since he use to come and work in his school holidays has three rides at Epsom this afternoon. It would be a dream come true for him if he were able to win on one of them. He has Humidor in The Dash for George Baker, Hubertas for John Quinn In the 1m4f Handicap and the top weight Ashpan Sam for David Drinkwater in the last race the ^f handicap. We will all be watching him and hopefully cheering him home.

We have no runners on Monday or Tuesday. COLUMN has an entry at Haydock. He has been gelded since his last run. MAZZINI who is a very good ride at home pulled like a train in his last race at Leicester and threw any chance of winning away. He has always looked like a very good sprinter at home and he showed that in his first race at Kempton. He is entered at Kempton. ZEST is another one who has not lived up to her home work. She and STONEY BROKE have entries at Yarmouth on Wednesday.

I am looking forward to getting LORD GEORGE back on the racecourse as he is a horse I manage for the FRED ARCHER RACING - Bend Or partnership. He has the 11f Gorleston Handicap at Yarmouth mapped in as possible on Thursday. He worked nicely over Racecourse Side this morning (Saturday 4th June) and is work recently has been pleasing.

PERMISSION & SINGAPORE SLING are both entered in the same race at Nottingham, STONEY BROKE also has an entry at Nottingham in the 10f handicap. Nottingham is where she has had her only run which was a win. Lastly FLY has an entry at Newbury over 8f.
