Dreamer Shows Us Some Magic

Posted on: 31st May 2017

MAGICAL DREAMER it would be fair to say has challenged us all. She looked as if she was forever in season and swishing her tail and just being a right little madam. She has always shown that she was a filly with a lot of ability as long but she was so damn tricky! Yesterday wearing a hood she showed us what she has got. Her tail was still whirring around like a windmill maybe it was propelling her! But she jumped so well that Daniel Muscutt was rather forced to make it on her whioch she seemed to relish and as far as I know no-one headed her and she won very nicely. At the weekend James will do his race planning and will find her another race to go for. She ran at Doncaster in a colts and fillies race and behaved very badly but yesterdays race was confined to fillies which seemed to suit better.

PERMISSION who ran an excellent first race at Ascot a few weeks ago to finish second is running in a Listed race at Nottingham this afternoon. She is going two furlongs further than she has run over in the past and th amin thing will be to get her settled. She is a lovely filly but a little bit quirky also and can be quite keen. She has settled down a lot as a four year old and hopefully she will be nice and laid back today.

RAINING STARS is having his first race this evening at Kempton. I always think that he and STAR STORM are half brothers but they are actually cousins. He has been given plenty of time which will hopefully pay off and he will one day be a nice horse for his owners the Obaida's.

We were able to work on the Limekilns for the first time this year. Tom Queally, Hayley Turner and Danile Muscutt were all there to ride for us this morning.
