Mickael Promises a Sweet Future

Posted on: 2nd Sep 2019

SWEET PROMISE gave her owner Arthur Boyd Rochfort an exciting time at Longchamp on Sunday when running a cracking race to finish third in her first Listed race. At the moment she is thriving both physically and mentally and seems to love her racing. Not very big she is so tough though. Mixkael had been told to switch her off and as he was drawn on the outside he tucked her in at the back of the field. She had a great turn of foot about two furlongs out but the winner was going better. She was unfortunate as she just got touched off for second place by a nose. This was only her fourth race and has had two wins and second and a third. She is a lovely filly and one her owner absolutely adores.

She unfortunately had an injury as a two year old which kept her off the course which may easily have been a blessing in disguise as she has done nothing but thrive as a three year old. There is every chance that she might be kept in training as a four year old which we all hope at Pegasus.
