Very Very SPEEDY BOARDING easily wins the Gp1 Prix Jean Romanet
Posted on: 21st Aug 2016
SPEEDY BOARDING dashed to the front in The Gp1 Prix Jean Romanet and was determined to stay there and won going away. Freddy Tylicki had her in the ideal position sitting third/fourth throughout the race and moved to the front about two furlongs out and stayed there. This is the yards second win of this race in the last three runnings of this lovely fillies race. RIBBONS won in a similar fashion in 2014. SPEEDY BOARDING is big filly who dwarfs most of the horses in the yard. She has an equally big character and can be quite naughty out on the heath. Stuart Ritchie has ridden her all this year and also looks after her he seems to know when she is going to do something and sits her well. He was confident that she was in excellent form even though she is one of the horses that suffered from the bacterial infection that has hit a lot of horses in Newmarket.
