Two Winners For FRED ARCHER RACING from News of the James Fanshawe: Racehorse Trainer website.

The yard had fourteen runners since Thursday and the two winners came from the FRED ARCHER RACING'S MAGICAL DREAMER and MASTER ARCHER. They also had PTARMIGAN RIDGE who was beaten just a short head on Thursday and EXCELLERATION who was third beaten a length and a half at newmarket on Friday evening.

We had a very busy week at Pegasus as well as a lot of runners we had 180 members of ELITE RACING here on Thursday. It was a bit unfortunate as their two year old KEYHAVEN had gone off to the races. TRIBUTE ACT their filly who had run a brilliant second in The Gp2 Duke of Cambridge at Royal Ascot paraded with MAGISTRATE and THE TIN MAN . It was a beautiful morning and the horses looked brilliant.

The following day we had our monthly Fred Archer Racing Open Day which well. Unfortunately SOCIETY PRINCE is on the injury list at the moment but we went to see him at Longholes where he is getting the best care and improving all the time. He looks fantastic and I could not have been more pleased with him.

Last year we had a very good time with our horses in The Northumberland Plate, with the three finishing in the first six, but not so in 2019. Both of them had had small interruptions but we still felt they were in good form but they were disappointing finishing out the back.

We have just a few runners this week so we will be getting ready for the following week when we have the July Meeting.

PEGASUS KID is running today at Wolverhampton. He is a big horse who is still quite a baby but ran very well first time out finishing third at Doncaster first time out. We have a filly we like very much running first time out on Wednesday called LILYPAD who is out of the Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Vow.

Some nice horses have entries later on in the week but the ground will be a major factor because James will not want to run them on ground that is too firm.
