THE TIN MAN & SPEEDY BOARDING Possibles for Champions Day

Posted on: 10th Oct 2016

THE TIN MAN has always had the Champion Sprint as one of his targets for the year and seems in good form going in to Saturdays race. In ideal world we would prefer the ground to be good but he doesn't seem to mind any. He has a better turn of foot on good or faster ground. He has already given his ten owners in the Fred Archer Ormonde Partnership more fun than they could have imagined.

Another horse left in at the confirmation stage was SPEEDY BOARDING. James would not usually think of running a horse, especially a filly, so soon after winning a Group One but The Champion Fillies & Mares would definitely be her last race before retiring, if she did in fact take her place in the line up. She seemed in excellent form this morning. James will sit down and discuss the race with her owner Mark Weinfeld over the next few days and they will come to a decision together.
