THE TIN MAN Ready to Go from News of the James Fanshawe: Racehorse Trainer website.

PREENING will our first runner at Royal Ascot she doesnt have one of the highest ratings in the race but had the favourite behind her when she finished second in the Snowdrop Stakes Kempton and was only one length behind the winner Agrotera who is 8/1 and she is 20/1!!She did her last piece of work on the Al Bahathri and went nicely.

PONDUS looks as if he is heading for The King Edward Vll Stakes which is a hotter race but James thinks he will be better over the 12f rather than the 10f of The Hampton Court. He is in great form at home. His Danish owner Hubert Strecker is bringing his whole family over for the race. Oisin Murphy came to ride him his last piece of work last Friday over on Racecourse Side on the Back Of The Flat gallop. the ground was drying out from all the rain but still soft enough which he didn't mind at all.

THE TIN MAN did his final piece of work on Saturday and is all ready for his date on Saturday. Everything has gone according to plan and we are very happy with him. Last year he was getting over a bout of pneumonia but luckily no such malaise this year. I hardly dare say it but we have had a very clear run so far!! Our biggest headache is getting tickets for all his owners which is a logistical nightmare. We are all very excited and looking forward to Royal Ascot with great anticipation. As mentioned previously the Limekilns were closed on Saturday which was disappointing as he loves them so we had to resort to the al Bahathri where he really very nicely.
