Fifteen minutes before the rest of first lot ZEST & KNIGHT OWL headed off to the Al Bahathri to do their work. They both went nicely and everyone seemed happy enough. As they finished the three work jockeys, Tom Queally (Star Storm), Freddy Tylicki (Column) and Dan Muscutt (Sam Missile) arrived. The work took place on Waterhall again. The ground was much better and not nearly as testing as it had been the previous week. HIGHER POWER, STAR STORM & LORD GEORGE came up in the first group, all went well. MR PICKWICK led COLUMN and SAM MISSILE. John & Zara Johnstone were out to see Mr Pickwick. The last group was NOBLE STAR, REGICIDE KING OF NAPLES & ALZEBARH.

We may have a few runners next Saturday and Sunday at Kempton and Ascot.

This afternoon was spent watching the Dubai World Cup races. We were delighted to see Euro Charline run so well for Snailwell Road trainer Marco Botti. It was a hell of a run and Well Done to them. California Chrome was awesome specially as his tack had slipped so far back. He looked to have got very hot before the race but it didn't seem to make any difference to him.
