Runners This Week

Posted on: 12th Dec 2017

Pegasus Stables has four maybe five runners this week. Tomorrow night TEASER is having his first race for Julian Richmond Watson at the Kempton twilight meeting. He was quite a baby to begin with but in recent weeks he has really grown up and improving all the time. He is a little highly strung and he is wearing a hood. ENFOLDING is also running at Kempton he has never been out of the first four and won his last two at Wolverhampton. He has done very well and should go on improving.

While James and I were on our very short trip to Hong Kong we were able to have dinner with ENFOLDING'S owner Ben Wong. It was a fun evening and also there was Sylvestre de Souza and his father in law Chris. The food was delicious but it is quite hard to find a restaurant in Hong Kong that does not serve the most delicious food.

Fred Archer Racings - Energy Syndicate's MASTER ARCHER is having his first run over hurdles at Warwick on Wednesday and we are all looking forward to that. There are some horses with a bit more experience than him but as long as he goes out and enjoys the experience we will be happy. Dan Skelton who is flying has Nube Negra who won his first race over here by 9l. He is Spanish bred which you do not see very often hurdling over here..

On Saturday Fred Archer Racing - Bend Or Syndicate's LORD GEORGE and Cool Silk Partnerships WARM OASIS are in at Newcastle. LORD GEORGE'S race looks quite hot but the likelihood is that he will run. He ran very well in The Northumberland Plate and seems to like the course. We were pleased with his last run at Kempton and he seems to love the two miles. WARM OASIS improved hugely in his second race to just get beaten half a length and Lingfield was probably not his ideal course when he finished fourth beaten a length and a half. He is in 1m4.5f maiden.
