MASTER ARCHER the Chester Specialist

Posted on: 3rd Sep 2018

MASTER ARCHER is now being talked about as being a Chester specialist after a second win at the course. I think he does like Chester but I think he is in tremendous form at the moment and I think he would do well at other tracks as we. that was his seventeenth run since April 2017 which must nearly be a record amount of runs for horse from Pegasus. He seems to be thriving on his racing and improving. He is a lovely horse and very popular in the yard.

David Probert was very impressed with his turn on foot on Saturday. He did look the winner throughout the race even though he was carrying 10.1 and just picked up and quickened away in Chesters short straight.

We so nearly had a treble over Friday and Saturday with SPANISH ARCHER going down a head to Midi at Newcastle. Unfortunately he had a bad draw and couldnt get any cover and was too keen all the way but did very well to come back and onlly got beaten a head.

THE PINTO KID ran his best race yet when looking as if he had got up to win at Lingfield but it was a photo finish and unfortunately he went down a short head. He showed a proper turn of foot and made up a lot of ground in the final furlong and a half.
