The entries for the 2000 and 1000 Guineas closed on Tuesday and James took the decision to enter Elite Racing Clubs filly ZEST. Shelooks well and has been going nicely at home but has not been asked to do anything other than normal canters. It is an exciting prospect for the members of the Racing Club.

ZESTS aunt SOVIET SONG was second favourite when she ran in the 2003 One Thousand Guineas and she did incredibly well to finish fourth. She did not look good in the spring and had not come in herself and was not firing by the time the race came along. SOVIET SONG had also had a productive two year career winning the Group One fillies mile. She never actually won as a three year old but made up for it as a four and five year old.

Fred Archer Racing's MAGICAL DREAMER a filly by Acclamation out of the Indian Ridge mare Double Fantasy got an early closing entry in The Wetherby's Super Sprint at Newbury in July. She may not be up to it when the times comes but she certainly has the breeding and is doing her work nicely enough at home to warrant the entry.

Also on Tuesday we welcomed back HIGH JINX. He looks absolutely fantastic. Sandra Middleton who rode him out for two seasons said he felt very well when she rode him on Wednesday. It is fair to say that everyone was delighted to see him back.
