Heart Warming

WARM OASIS who has been improving all the time since his arrival at the beginning of the season won his fourth start at Newcastle on Saturday. He looks very awkward but he is very honest and in the end was actually going away. He sat last for most of the race and then knuckled down once in the straight to go pass the whole field and get up on the line.

The race before Fred Archer Racings LORD GEORGE ran another good race to finish fourth in a conditions race. He is rated 96 and the three horses in front of him were rated 106, 105 and 102 and he was beaten three lengths. He looks so well at the moment and his next race is on January 6th. We might put some cheekpieces on him just to help him concentrate as he seems to get to the front and then thinks he has done enough. he is a pretty talented horse on his day and is very consistent. He does not like soft ground and seems to enjoy the all weather.

Another Fred Archer Racing horse MASTER ARCHER was denied a run at Warwick last Thursday which looked a lovely race for him to start his hurdling career. He is now due to run at Towcester this Thursday this time it isn't restricted to 3yos so it might be more difficult and there will be more runners but he needs a race now.

We are hoping to get THE TIN MAN back on Thursday. He was due to come back today (Monday 18th December) but it was changed to Thursday.

Tom Fanshawe has been with him in Hong Kong as has Helen Halliwell. Tom is now on his way to Australia where he is going to work for a while. He has a years work visa but I am not sure how long he is planning to be away. We will miss him here.
