Exciting Weekend Ahead

Posted on: 16th Jun 2016

We have some very interesting runners apart from THE TIN MAN at Royal Ascot on Saturday. On Friday MISSED CALL is in the Duke of Edinburgh over a mile and a half at Royal Ascot and looks great at home but she has a bad draw in stall 21 of 22. ALZEBARH is in at Lingfield later in the day. She has been a little disappointing but we are hoping for a better run. We hope that SLEEPLESSINSEATTLE who seems to have come on for her fiorst race gives a good account of herself at Goodwood. HE'S MY BOY is in excellent form at home and is due to run in The TAYLOR WIMPEY APPRENTICE HANDICAP in the first race at Newmarket on Friday evening. He loves good to firm ground so will not appreciate anything that is soft.

ZEST has not shown on the racecourse what she does at home. Hopefully now we have had the odd day of warmer weather she may be coming to herself. At home she is a very good ride but she has pulled hard on the course and she would need to settle. PERMISSION is a half sister to by Authorized to COTAI GLORY and is having her first run at Newmarket on Saturday.

STONEY BROKE won her one and only race as a two-year-old. She has taken a long time to come to herself this year and she is due to run at Haydock on Saturday evening.

Fred Archer Racing's THE TIN MAN is our biggest runner of the week and very exciting for the partners. It looks as if it is going to be soft on Saturday. He ran on Good to soft last year on Qipco Champions Day. It may be softer than that and we dont know if he will enjoy it or not. If DEACON BLUES had been running we would have been delighted as he loved it the softer the better. Whatever it is very exciting for us all that he is running in such a prestigious race. Prior to him running is ARTHENUS who is wearing cheek pieces for the first time and a horse we have always liked a lot.
