Could It Be Third Time Lucky For the Tin Man

Posted on: 3rd Sep 2018

THE TIN MAN is never going to break any speed records when working at home but we were very happy with his work on the Limekilns on Saturday. He worked on The Trial Ground where the ground was perfect for him and he showed us he was in excellent form and we are happy to be heading to Haydock again with him next Saturday. Although they are due to get some showers the ground should be much more to his liking than in his previous two appearances there. He had to endure soft and heavy and his class still showed through as he finished second and third.

Fifteen horses stayed in the race today and James Garfield and Sir Prancealot were supplemented. THE TIN MAN will have a change of jockey on Saturday when Oisin Murphy gets to ride him for the first time.
