It started as another filthy wet morning for the poor lads and horses at least it isn't blowing a gale or icy cold.

We had two new people start this morning which is always good a morning. There is a good atmosphere in the yard even though it is hard at this time of year. We are wanting to take more people on all the time. James looks after everyone well and conditions are good in the yard and plenty of perks.

CHARLES FOX is running this afternoon at Wolverhampton. He definitely has ability but his first two runs were not very exciting but this is his first race since being gelded.

We are declaring LORD GEORGE for Saturday in the 2m handicap. He will have the top weight and he is running in a visor for the first time to help him concentrate. He has run many excellent races in 2017 specially his fourth in The Northumberland Plate but we would love to get him winning again. The Fred Archer Racing - Bend Or Partners are a gang of very enthusiastic owners.

Five horses returned to Pegasus yesterday after their winter holiday. The three Fred Archer Racing horses SOCIETY PRINCE, PTARMIGAN RIDGE, MAGICAL DREAMER and COLONIAL CLASSIC from Kent and SCOONES from Tim Vesteys Stud. They are coming back thick and fast now.
